The weekend was a huge success. We were lucky with fantastic weather, but the staff at both clubs really looked after us well. Furthermore the hotel was excellent. Everyone was very happy.

I was really pleased with the course at Swindon. You should do a lot more to publicise it. Some of the holes are very reminiscent of playing in Central Scotland

The greens are in very good condition as are the fairways.  The views are something to be admired, with beautiful mature trees - sometimes you forget you have come out to play golf, especially when you tee of on the 10^th  !!! Having played at another local prestigious club we can honestly say Swindon is level par with it.  The Staff are very polite, courteous and helpful, always with a  smile – and that’s what a true club should be.  Well Done Swindon.

I have received many compliments from members of our Society following our day at Swindon Golf Club last Wednesday. 

The condition of the course was exemplary and many thanks to Andy and his groundsmen for getting the course to this high level, particularly after such mixed weather.

Thank you to everybody at Swindon and our Society will certainly return to enjoy this wonderful course.

On behalf of the CGS, we would like to thank you & your staff for the service provided & making us feel so welcome. The only down side was the weather, no sunshine & rain didn’t stop play. Those who’ve played this course will testify to the speed and the severe test of the greens and in particular the 3rd.  Even with the amount of rain experienced the greens were still very fast, a testament to the green staff at Swindon.  I can’t imagine how tough the 3rd green could be in mid summer

We hope to include Swindon in our 2012 itinerary, hopefully in sunshine.

Many of us had never played the course before, which is surprising as you are not far from Bridgnorth, but we thoroughly enjoyed the day and I hope we may return in the future.

Can you please pass on our thanks from all on the committee to all the groundsmen for getting the course into a superb condition everybody said how they have enjoyed playing the course and the greens were as good as any in the area.
 
Please  also say thank you to the bar staff who worked really hard all day, can you say a special thank you to Sue and Wendy who spent all day cooking food out side on the barbeque.

Just a quick note to thank all involved in our golf day last week. The day went smoothly and since compliments have been coming in thick and fast regarding the condition of the course! The food was also fantastic and Ken kept us well hydrated with beer! Compliments to all.

On Behalf of the PFGS, I am writing to thank you for an enjoyable days golf. The welcome we received on arrival was both warm and interested from the staff and members and this was appreciated. The bacon baps were top draw too!

The course was its usual pleasure to play and was set up to be a good all round and fair test of golf. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all members, so please pass on our thanks to the greens staff.

The meal after the golf was delicious and very filling, even one or two of the renowned hearty eaters didn’t need to look for left overs! The service in both the restaurant and bar was also noticeably prompt, polite and friendly.

We did have a really good day  out and I hope that you will pass on our tanks to all your staff.

Just a line to say thanks to all management and staff for their help and assistance on Sunday.

You may be interested to hear that all of the visitors I spoke to during the day were very complimentary about the course and facilities, and general atmosphere around the club.

Just a short note from "Sunday Ladies" for the generosity from the management, and member's friendliness, when we played at your course yesterday. I hope that you will receive the donation which we left behind the bar addressed to the Captains as a thank you.

Following the impending introduction of the Equality act this year, the implications for us "working ladies" has encouraged us to explore other avenues. We have until next year to decide on a way forward either as a group or individually and the attitude of your club was very refreshing.

Just had to write to tell you how absolutely perfect you made our Wedding Day, We could not fault any aspect of our experience with you at all. Considering you have only been doing weddings for a short period of time you have managed to get everything absolutely spot on. The food was amazing and also the service from your staff.

We really did have a day to remember and most of that was down to you, so all that remains for us to say is a very big Thank-You to you all, we will certainly be recommending you to all our friends.

Firstly, can I thank you on behalf of BGS Golf Society for the excellent service we were given on out golf day last weekend.    

In the morning the condition of the course garnered several favourable comments - particularly the excellent condition of the greens.  I had the pleasure of playing with two members from xyz who both agreed that Swindon's greens were in much better condition than theirs, which is high praise indeed given that they recently held the Open qualifier there.

In the evening the catering and bar staff were all extremely helpful and again the standard of the food was fantastic.

Dear Sir

Please convey to you Directors and Committee our thanks for allowing the S.V.L.G.A to play your course last week. We were made to feel very welcome at Swindon and our every need was catered for.

In particular we would like to thank the Starters for ensuring the tee was kept clear for us and Ken and Sue with their staff for the excellent meals, sandwiches and bar service all day. Everyone was so helpful and cheerful in spite of the pressure of catering for more than 130 ladies. Thanks must also go to you for co-ordinating all the necessary elements.

The day was greatly enjoyed by the competitors and many commented very favourably on the new design of the course and its condition. I hope to have the pleasure of returning to Swindon in the not too distant future.

A short belated note to say thanks to all Swindon Golf Club for the help, organisation and hospitality you showed us at our away day on August 23rd. Despite the "inclement" weather, to a man, everyone expressed their enjoyment of the day, the excellent course condition, the attention to detail and the service provided in the restaurant. This coming from 24 "seniors" has to be well earned.

We would just like to say a big thank you for making our wedding day such a special day. We could not fault anything at all. The meal was fantastic as was the service. Also the room looked absolutely beautiful. Everything went smoothly which was no doubt due to all the staff's hard work. The evening buffet was also extremely good. We found yourselves to also be very friendly and accommodating which was lovely. We will definitely be recommending your venue to other people.
