Swindon Golf Club

Founded in 1974 and owned by C C Cooper (Lye) Limited since 1986 the club has built a flourishing membership and friendly staff that guarantee you a warm welcome.

Situated just 8 miles from Wolverhampton, and a short distance from the Black Country our picturesque parkland 18 hole course offers some of the best holes of golf in the Staffordshire County. The course is abundant with wildlife, including many species of birds, hares, squirrels, foxes and even badgers.

The course is set in beautifully picturesque parkland that was originally owned by the Earl of Dudley. In 1974 the land was developed into a 9 hole golf course.

It was then developed into a full 18 hole course in 1976 and was known as "Blackhills Golf Club".

The course was purchased by C C Cooper (Lye) Limited in 1986 and renamed
"Swindon Golf Club".

Our parkland 18 hole course offers some of the best holes of golf in the Staffordshire County, the first three being open whilst the remainder are locked in avenues of pines, firs and rhododendrons. Apart from first 2 holes all the remainders are tree lined, a great test for golfers of all standards.
